Dinner Parties

While the cottage at Skillogalee is small and quaint, it lends itself to atmospheric dinner parties for up to about 16 people inside during the cooler months and larger groups on the verandah in the warmer parts of the year. We can provide delicious menus and friendly relaxed service for office functions, birthday dinners, Christmas do's and other special occasions.

We can of course cater for larger functions by accommodating guests in a marquee in the ground close by.

Weddings

The garden is ideal for wedding ceremonies and receptions of all kinds, especially from late spring to autumn when the roses are in bloom - contact us to discuss your ideas and requirements, and we can provide suggestions, sample menus, and costings. We can also introduce local celebrants, arrange for flowers, transport for guests - in fact take much of the burden of arranging a successful and memorable occasion.

For B&B Guests

If you are staying at our bed & breakfast accommodation and the comforts prove to be so attractive you don't want to leave, you can arrange to collect an "almost ready" gourmet meal from Skillogalee Restaurant, a couple of hundred metres away. A basket of dishes is supplied, complete with DIY instructions, ready to be given the finishing touches when you want to have dinner. 24 hours notice is required.

Picnic Baskets

Last but not least, we can prepare you a gourmet picnic basket for you to take with you when you explore other parts of the Valley - again 24 hours notice is required. Pick up your order from cellar door and then, after your al fresco meal, return the empty basket, crockery, cutlery and glasses etc at the end of the day.
