Our Estate Rosé is meticulously crafted from dry-grown vines on our family-owned estate in the Clare Valley. Each vintage’s blend is thoughtfully composed, reflecting the year’s unique character and drawing from a selection of our low-yielding red grape varieties including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. These grapes, thriving on the elevated slopes of our property, contribute to the distinctive profile and quality of our Rosé.
Hand-picked fruit is specially harvested for this wine, with the blend of varieties varying each vintage to craft a wine of intense fruit character and authentic varietal expression. Upon arrival at the winery, the fruit is blended, destemmed, and cooled before pressing. To extract the optimal level of colour and flavour, the juice is macerated with the skins in the press for several hours. The free-run juice and light pressings are subsequently cold-settled and racked, undergoing a cool fermentation process to preserve the delicate, floral fruit nuances inherent in the grape varieties.
