Skillogalee’s wines are renowned for their authenticity, derived from the exquisite, dry-grown fruit of our single-estate vineyards located in the Sevenhill subregion of Clare Valley. Nestled amongst scenic rolling hills and lush native bushland, our vineyards, established in 1970, feature low-yielding, mature vines that produce fruit celebrated for its distinctive and nuanced flavours.
With a hands-on approach to vineyard management, we implement sustainable practices that minimise chemical use and enhance natural biodiversity. Our reliance on natural rainfall for our dry-grown vines, combined with the individual hand-picking and fermentation of each fruit parcel, ensures the preservation of the terroir and varietal character of each grape. This meticulous process culminates in an exceptional range of artisanally crafted wines that are a true expression of Skillogalee’s unique terroir.
