Skillogalee offers a distinctive setting for private events, celebrations and weddings in the heart of South Australia’s Clare Valley. Surrounded by estate vineyards, native bushland and historic stone buildings, the property includes a range of flexible spaces suitable for gatherings of all sizes.
Skillogalee is a working vineyard and restaurant in South Australia’s Clare Valley. The estate features a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces across the property, including the newly opened Barrel House, restored heritage buildings and vineyard lawns. Events of all sizes can be hosted here, from intimate dinners to large-scale receptions.
Our team works closely with guests to create thoughtful, well-executed experiences supported by estate-grown wine, seasonal food and on-site accommodation.
Weddings
Weddings at Skillogalee range from ceremonies among the vines to long-table lunches and evening receptions under the stars.
The Barrel House provides a contemporary space with vineyard views, well suited to larger receptions and private functions. For smaller gatherings, the historic cottage, currently undergoing careful restoration, will reopen in 2026 as a character-filled venue for indoor dining and verandah events.
Ceremonies can be held throughout the estate, including garden areas, beneath the olive tree or overlooking the vines. We provide sample menus, suggested layouts and recommendations for local suppliers to assist in planning.
