Skillogalee has been part of the Clare Valley landscape for more than fifty years, with vineyards, historic buildings and contemporary hospitality spaces spread across the estate.
Weddings here have a strong sense of place, surrounded by vines, native bushland and the rolling landscape of the Sevenhill subregion. Guests can arrive for the ceremony and remain on the estate throughout the celebration, with the reception and accommodation all close by.

Ceremony, Reception and Celebration
Ceremonies can take place among the vineyards or on the estate lawns, surrounded by native gums and views across the valley.
From there, guests can move to the Barrel House for the reception. Overlooking the vineyard, the light-filled venue opens onto an outdoor terrace, allowing the celebration to move easily between indoor dining and the surrounding landscape.
With each part of the wedding close together, the day can unfold naturally without transfers between venues or interruptions to the celebration.
Food, Wine and the Clare Valley
Food is an important part of every celebration at Skillogalee. Wedding menus are created by the award-winning Skillogalee Restaurant team and shaped by the season, the best available produce and the style of the day. From shared feasts and long-table dining to cocktail-style receptions, the approach is centred on generous hospitality and thoughtful cooking.
Skillogalee wines are grown and made from vineyards on the estate, bringing a direct connection between the landscape, the table and the celebration. Together, the food and wine reflect the character of the Clare Valley and the experience of gathering at Skillogalee.
Wedding Accommodation on the Estate
The Skillogalee Homestead and cottages provide accommodation across the estate for the couple, family and friends, making it possible for key guests to stay close to the celebration.
The Homestead sits beside the Barrel House and is particularly well suited to wedding preparations and time together before and after the event.
For larger groups, additional accommodation is available nearby, including ten recently renovated ensuite rooms at our Rising Sun Hotel in Auburn, along with a range of accommodation throughout the Clare Valley.
