Available Thursday to Sunday for lunch, and Saturday dinner.
A relaxed, multi-course dining experience showcasing seasonal produce from the Clare Valley and our estate kitchen garden, complemented by optional Skillogalee wine pairings.
Prix Fixe Lunch
Available daily from 11.30am to 2.30pm.
A shorter way to enjoy dining at Skillogalee, with a two-course menu and optional dessert showcasing the same seasonal produce and thoughtful cooking.
Wine Tasting Experiences

The Barrel House provides a flexible space for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings at Skillogalee.
Overlooking the vineyard and opening onto the terrace, the venue is well suited to long lunches, milestone celebrations, brand events and special occasions of many kinds.

Accommodation Guests
We’re pleased to offer guests staying on the estate an exclusive dining option with our “Almost Ready” In-Room Dining Menu. Each meal is prepared by our chefs and designed for you to finish effortlessly in the comfort of your private kitchen.
Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to arrange your meal and enjoy the flavours of Skillogalee at your leisure.
Information for Your Visit
We recommend booking ahead to secure your table, although we’re always happy to welcome walk-ins when space allows. If you’re planning a visit with a group of 8 or more, please book in advance, as we’re unable to accommodate larger groups without a reservation.
Children are warmly welcomed. At lunch, guests aged 12 and under may choose from our dedicated children’s menu, while older children are invited to enjoy the standard menu. For dinner, all guests are welcome to enjoy the seasonal tasting menu.

About the Barrel House
The Barrel House is a contemporary space shaped by the character of Skillogalee. Built with sustainability in mind, its steel cladding and Blackbutt timber accents sit comfortably within the landscape, while solar power, water harvesting and native plantings reflect our long-term commitment to the environment.
Inside, high ceilings and generous windows open to views across the estate dam, the vineyards and the Skilly hills. It is a place designed for relaxed dining and wine experiences that remain closely connected to the surrounding landscape.
As we continue the careful restoration of our original 1850s cottage, the Barrel House serves as the heart of our hospitality. In time, it will become a dedicated venue for weddings and events while retaining its role in our barrel program, complementing the restored cottage and forming an integral part of the Skillogalee estate.
