Our historic 1850s cottage, home to our restaurant and cellar door, is undergoing a careful restoration to ensure it remains an iconic part of our estate’s heritage for generations to come.
While this meticulous work is underway, the Barrel House will be our home for food and wine, offering the same warm Skillogalee hospitality, handcrafted wines, regional food, and stunning vineyard views in a fresh new setting.

Set in an 1850s stone cottage at the heart of the estate, Skillogalee Restaurant is a welcoming place to share Clare Valley food and wine.
Guests can choose to dine inside the cottage, on the verandah overlooking the vineyard, or beneath the shade of the old olive tree. Surrounded by native bushland and the contours of Spring Gully, the restaurant offers a relaxed setting for meals and gatherings, always connected to the landscape that defines Skillogalee.
We welcome visitors daily for food and wine experiences in the Clare Valley.

Gourmet Picnic Hampers
Enhance your visit to our picturesque estate with a gourmet picnic hamper, thoughtfully prepared just for you. Each hamper is filled with carefully selected premium items to create a memorable experience.
To order your picnic hamper, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. The picnic experience is exclusively available on our property, and our team will happily guide you to the most scenic spots on the estate to enjoy your meal. Hampers can be collected from our cellar door, ready to set the scene for a truly special day.
Accommodation Guests
For our accommodation guests, we offer an exclusive “Almost Ready” In-Room Dining Menu. Each dish is expertly prepared by our culinary team and designed for you to add the final touches in your private kitchen within our estate accommodations. To arrange your meal, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance and enjoy the flavours of our restaurant in the comfort and privacy of your stay.
