Skillogalee Restaurant is currently welcoming guests in our Barrel House, where we continue to serve thoughtful regional cuisine alongside estate-grown wines in a relaxed setting overlooking the vineyards.
Our historic 1850s cottage, the original home of Skillogalee Restaurant and Cellar Door, is undergoing a careful restoration and is expected to resume its role as the heart of the estate in early 2027.
Set among the vineyards of the Skilly Valley, Skillogalee Restaurant offers a dining experience centred on regional produce, estate-grown wines and genuine country hospitality. Guided by the seasons and the best ingredients from our kitchen garden and local producers, every menu reflects the character of the Clare Valley.
Tasting Menu
Available Thursday to Sunday for lunch, and Saturday dinner.
Our seasonal tasting menu is designed to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace, allowing time to enjoy each course, each wine and the beauty of the estate. Showcasing the best local produce alongside ingredients from our estate garden, every menu is complemented by optional Skillogalee wine pairings selected to enhance each dish.

Available daily, 11.30am to 2.30pm.
A shorter, two-course dining experience with an optional dessert, perfect for those looking to enjoy Skillogalee’s seasonal cooking while exploring the Clare Valley. Showcasing the same seasonal philosophy and commitment to local produce, it’s perfect for those exploring the Clare Valley or seeking a relaxed weekday lunch.
Seatings are allocated for up to 90 minutes.
ESTATE-GROWN WINES
Every wine served at Skillogalee is grown and crafted from our estate vineyards in the Clare Valley. From our signature Rieslings and Estate collection to limited Small Batch releases, museum wines and flagship Trevarrick wines, our list reflects more than five decades of winemaking on the estate.
Optional wine pairings are available with our Tasting Menu, thoughtfully selected to complement each course and showcase the character of our wines.
If you’d like to explore the collection in greater depth, complete your visit with a guided wine tasting at our Cellar Door. Choose from our Estate, Riesling and Portfolio Tastings, each offering a unique perspective on our handcrafted Clare Valley wines.
Gourmet Picnic Hampers
Experience Skillogalee from a different perspective with a gourmet picnic hamper, thoughtfully prepared using premium South Australian produce and Skillogalee favourites.
Available by pre-order with at least 48 hours’ notice, our picnic hampers are exclusively enjoyed on the estate. Our team will happily recommend one of our favourite spots among the vineyards and gardens for a relaxed afternoon with food, wine and spectacular views.

Information for your visit
We recommend reserving your table in advance to secure your preferred dining experience, although we’re always happy to welcome walk-ins when space allows. If you’re planning to visit with a group of 8 or more, advance reservations are essential, as we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate larger groups without a booking.
Children are warmly welcomed. At lunch, guests aged 12 and under may choose from our dedicated children’s menu, while older children are invited to enjoy the standard menu. At Saturday dinner, all guests enjoy our seasonal Tasting Menu.
