Located about 135km, and 90 minutes, drive due north of Adelaide, Skillogalee is set amongst native bushland in the picturesque heart of the world-renowned Clare Valley, one of South Australia’s oldest wine regions.
Our award winning cellar door is set within the historic old stone cottage built in 1851 by a Cornish miner, John Trestrail. The original cottage is surrounded by gardens and views over our picturesque estate vineyards.
Skillogalee has a vibrant, busy and cosy restaurant, where you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon sampling some of the Clare Valleys best food.
The emphasis is on interesting dishes from around the world using the best ingredients, local where possible, well-presented and professionally served, but in a relatively informal atmosphere.
Set amongst the wooded hills and vineyards, close to the Spring Gully Conservation Park in South Australia’s Clare Valley, Skillogalee now boasts a selection of well-appointed, self-catering accommodation available for visitors.
